Bluefish are abundant in Bay and Ocean later in the season.
Since they are plenty and you want to try a fresh Bluefish, just ask one of the
fishermen (persons) for a fish, sometimes they are happy to share the bounty,
especially later in the season when their freezers are already stuffed. If you
don't have a boat you can also try to catch them off the Beach. Maybe you'll
even observe a "Bluefish Run". Keep your ears open. Word of a "Run" travels
fast.
