June 27, 1998 saw the 1st Annual Entertainment Night.
Jerry DeMeo organized it drawing from the abundant and varied talent of
the Fair Harbor community. Some years back, let's call it the 80ies, a
group of people had organized similar events. So it is refreshing to see a
rekindling of the community spirit. Thank you Jerry for making the effort.
The fare of the evening was quite varied, from children's stories, to
adult stories, to folk music, sing-along, and rockn' roll. As can expected
in such a diverse community the level of performance was of course quite
varied. Nevertheless, the audience and performers seemed to have a great
time. Let's do it again!
