Re: Invitation to Attend Fair Harbor Community Association Meeting
5/23/99
Dear Supervisor McGowan:
As early as May 7th we had invited you to join us at our
Spring Association meeting on 5/23 to answer questions from concerned
residents about various issues including the pressing Lifeguard issue.
We were disappointed that you were unable to attend.
The meeting was well attended despite the rain. Many residents
expressed dismay at the apparent lack of progress. Here and there we
detected some anger. It seems that this issue will rally residents similar
to the erosion problem we faced several years ago. "Block representatives"
volunteered their time to educate the rest of the community and to call
them to action. We handed out a few Voter Registration Cards to interested
citizens.
We will keep you informed as to our future meeting schedule and hope
that you will be able to attend one of those meetings.
Please give me a call at (deleted by

any other matters. Mr. Eugene Levy, FHCA President is also available to
receive your call.
Your reply is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Fair Harbor Community Association
