Village Regulations

Up One Level • Evacuation Procedure
 

No outdoor fires of any kind. Keep off oceanfront dunes at all times.
Dogs must be leashed at all times except on owner's property.
Dogs are prohibited on ocean and bay fronts between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Person in control of dog must immediately remove and properly dispose of all fecal matter. Dogs are prohibited from docks, except when arriving or departing, and from swimming area.
Bicycles: No bike riding after dark (Memorial Day weekend to Sept. 15). Night bike riding during remainder of year equipped with proper light only. All bikes must be equipped with a bell. Sound bell at all corners. Pedestrians have right-of-way. No bike riding on docks. Bikes may be registered with Security for identification if lost or stolen.
Skateboards strictly prohibited.
Noise ordinances strictly enforced. No unnecessary or unreasonable noise at anytime.
Machinery may be operated outdoors weekdays 8 a.m.-6 p.m., weekends 11 a.m.-5 p.m. only.
No outdoor construction from Memorial Day weekend to Sept. 15 except with permission.
No food or drink (except water) allowed on any walks, beaches, docks, parks or other public places.
No radio or music playing in public places except through a private, personal listening device.
Watering of plants and gardens prohibited from 4-7 p.m.
